Some guiding principles are as old as time. The golden rule is one such principal based on treating others the way we would want to be treated.
In business it is not always easy to adhere to this principal but the team at General Home lives this principal daily. In our experience when everyone is in a win/win relationship success just comes easier.
As a property owner it is important to be aware that residents have a vast number of properties they can choose from to call home. Residents expect a clean, safe functional property that provides that place where their life will unfold.
Property owners make a tremendous investment in the properties they provide for residents. Leasing a residential home is not the same as renting an apartment. Leasing a home comes with the responsibility of maintenance and higher level of awareness & concern for any issues that arise.
As a resident it is important to understand that owners expect residents to treat their property with care and concern as if it was their own, keeping things clean and well maintained to prevent unnecessary damage and cost.
When all parties consider that the other is just as valuable to the relationship as they believe they are things work a lot smoother. Remember the golden rule!
